About the job

 

The surgical scrub technician’s role and responsibility is to provide necessary and appropriate equipment, instruments and supplies during plastic surgery with the surgeon, nurses and staff.  The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment. 

 

What do we look for?

 

We are seeking a self-motivated, patient focused Surgical Scrub Technician with strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with patients, physicians and staff. 

 

  • A minimum of one year of experience as a surgical scrub technician in plastic surgery is required
  • Certification by The Association of Surgical Technicians or from a similar Surgical Technician training program is preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with breast augmentation, breast lifts, abdominoplasty, liposuction, face lifts, etc.
  • Must be mobile in a surgery and office setting; walking, sitting, standing, bending and stretching
