What do we look for?

 

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Representative with Insurance Verification experience in a medical setting.  This person will be responsible for contacting health plans or payers to gather benefits and limitations. They will also complete eligibility and benefits verification to ensure services provided will be covered by the carrier.  All communications will be accurately documented in the database system.

 

The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills including a pleasant demeanor, a positive attitude, and is diplomatic, patient and flexibility with the ability to effectively interact with patients, doctors, and staff.

 

  • Health Care and / or Medical Insurance Verifications experience highly preferred
  • Experience in a call center environment highly preferred
  • Proficiency with computer-based programs and systems required
  • Effective communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Mobility in an office setting; sitting, standing, walking, bending
  • Perform general duties and other functions as required or assigned
